Barley Delivery Delayed Due to Bad Weather at Mersin Port
The Soil Products Board (TÜK) announced that the loading of barley purchased by the institution at Mersin Port was not completed within the scheduled timeframe due to adverse weather conditions.
The statement notes that a challenging meteorological situation has persisted in the region over the last 15 days. As a result, serious disruptions in loading and unloading operations have been recorded at Mersin Port and several others.
Port operations have been periodically suspended, leading to delays in vessel schedules.
TÜK emphasized that the delay is entirely weather-related. The institution is coordinating with all relevant services to expedite the process.
