The Parliament of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has approved the budgets for the Ombudsman, courts, and the Ministry of Health
During today's session in the TRNC Parliament, discussions on the budgets of state institutions continue. In this session, deputies approved the budgets for the Ombudsman, the courts, and the Ministry of Health.
At the General Assembly of the Parliament, the Ombudsman's budget (Chief Auditor), totaling 22,727,500 Turkish Lira, was approved by the majority of votes.
The budget for the courts, amounting to 522,479,500 Turkish Lira, was unanimously approved.
The budget for the Ministry of Health, totaling 6,930,687,000 Turkish Lira, was also unanimously approved by parliamentarians.
As a reminder, the budget discussions, which started in the TRNC Parliament on Monday, December 11, will last for 10 days. Deputies will convene daily on weekdays until December 22. Along with the general budget, 35 budgets of ministries, departments, and agencies will be discussed and approved.
Earlier, deputies approved the overall budget of the country, the presidential budget, the Treasury of the Republic Assembly, the budget of the Ministry of Tourism, and several other departments.
