Prime Minister Üstel: Güzelyurt will soon receive a hospital and new infrastructure facilities
Prime Minister of the TRNC, Ünal Üstel, assessed his visit after trips to Güzelyurt. He stated that Güzelyurt will very soon be provided with its own hospital, emphasizing that the government is fulfilling the promises made to the residents of the region.
According to Üstel, based on information obtained during the visits, new social housing units in Güzelyurt will be handed over to their owners as early as June.
The Prime Minister also noted that investments in the region will continue. In particular, the long-awaited cold storage facility will begin operations in the near future, and the foundation stone of a new wholesale market (hala) in Güzelyurt will be laid soon.
In addition, Üstel reported that as part of cooperation with the Güzelyurt municipality, the foundation of a project that will provide residents of the region with access to the sea will be laid in May.
“We intend to fulfill all promises made to the residents of Güzelyurt step by step,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
