SOS Çocukköyü Association Launches Ramadan Campaign to Support Children
The SOS Çocukköyü Association has announced the start of its Ramadan charity campaign under the slogan "Why wait?", calling for social solidarity and support for children.
According to the organization, 93 children and adolescents receive support under the family-based care model. Additionally, 38 families and 80 children are aided through the family strengthening program. In total, 173 children and young people benefit from care, education, medical, and psychosocial support services.
National Director Ahmet Akarsu emphasized that the needs of children are not limited to Ramadan or holidays.
"Education, nutrition, housing, and emotional support are responsibilities that continue year-round. There is no reason to postpone doing good," he noted.
Funds raised during the campaign will be directed toward meeting children's basic needs, supporting their education, and strengthening families.
The campaign can be supported in several ways:
- By sending an SMS with the text "SOS" to 4120 (420 TL fitre for postpaid subscribers)
- Via the organization's website
- By bank transfer
- By visiting the organization's office in person
