The wife of the President of the TRNC has inaugurated an art exhibition for International Women's Day
Sibel Tatar, spouse of TRNC President Erşin Tatar, took part in the opening ceremony of the painting exhibition titled "Breezes Among Women XIII," organized by the Kyrenia Mediterranean Lions Club to mark March 8th, International Women's Day.
The exhibition kicked off at the Atatürk Cultural Center in Nicosia.
During her speech at the exhibition's opening, the wife of Northern Cyprus' leader highlighted that the proceeds from the vernissage would be donated to charity.
Sibel Tatar expressed her belief in the unifying power of art, stating that "kindness is contagious and represents one of the most exemplary acts." She added that it is of great importance for the Kyrenia Mediterranean Lions Club to integrate art with philanthropic endeavors.
Additionally, the TRNC President's wife mentioned that on International Women's Day, a dinner focusing on the challenges faced by women with disabilities and mothers with disabilities was organized at the Presidential Palace, as there has been a noticeable decrease in societal sensitivity towards individuals with disabilities.
Sibel Tatar emphasized the significance of the exhibition inaugurated by the President and the board of directors of the Kyrenia Mediterranean Lions Club on the occasion of March 8th, International Women's Day, and extended her congratulations to the club members for their efforts.
