Three people detained in Lefkoşa in drug-related case
In Lefkoşa, police have detained three individuals on suspicion of drug possession and distribution. The suspects are Muhammet Kızmaz, Muhittin Alak, and Frank Jumbo.
According to police reports, on March 9, narcotics department officers conducted a joint operation, during which the suspects were detained in a park with 1 gram of cannabis.
During a subsequent search of one of the detainees' homes, approximately 35 grams of cannabis, 145 pills, and electronic scales were discovered.
The investigation established that some of the drugs might have been left at various locations throughout the city. The investigation is ongoing, and police are also searching for other possible accomplices.
The court ordered the suspects to remain in custody for 6 days for further investigative actions.
