Air temperature will rise to 32°C: weather in Northern Cyprus on April 16

According to the Department of Meteorology of the TRNC, on Tuesday, April 16, the region continues to be affected by low pressure and warm, humid air. Two weather warnings are still in effect in the region.

Meteorologists predict cloudy weather without precipitation. The air temperature is expected to be 4-6 degrees above seasonal climatic norms. In some areas, the thermometer will rise to 32°C.

The wind is northwesterly, of moderate strength. No storms are expected in the region today.

In Northern Cyprus, the average level of ultraviolet radiation and a high probability of forest fires persist.

People with normal skin can stay in the sun for about 20 minutes. However, it is strongly recommended to wear hats and sunglasses.

Northern coast: Kyrenia – 28°C, Lapta – 24°C, Akdeniz - 30°C, Alevkaya - 26°C, Esentepe - 27°C.

Western coast: Lefke – 30°C, Güzelyurt – 32°C.

Central part: Nicosia – 31°C, Ercan – 30°C

Eastern coast: Famagusta – 27°C, Iskele – 28°C

Karpas: Yenierenköy – 28°C
