Man set his own car on fire in Bafra

In the Bafra area, a 62-year-old man was detained on suspicion of deliberately setting his own car on fire. The incident occurred during the day, when witnesses noticed the blaze and alerted emergency services.
The fire was quickly extinguished, but the vehicle sustained serious damage. During the investigation, police determined that the fire was not accidental — according to preliminary information, the car was set alight by its owner.
The motives for the act are being investigated, and the inquiry is ongoing.
