Flights in Northern Cyprus Operating on Schedule — No Delays
Acting Director of the Civil Aviation Department of Northern Cyprus, Aşkın Meşeli, stated that the current situation in the region does not affect TRNC air traffic.
According to him, despite reports in the South Cypriot press about the possible closure of the "Nicosia FIR" due to threats against British bases on the island, flights in Northern Cyprus are operating as usual.
"There are no disruptions or delays in flights," Meşeli emphasized.
He noted that developments are being closely monitored, and the relevant services are working in coordination with each other.
It is also reported that a Security Council meeting was held at the Presidential Palace, with decisions expected shortly.
