In Famagusta Hospital, a Blood Bank has been launched
A modern Blood Bank has been put into operation at Famagusta Hospital. This was announced during a visit to the medical institution by the Minister of Health of the TRNC, Hakan Dinçyürek.
The Minister of Health stated that the Blood Bank at Famagusta Hospital has been put into operation using state-of-the-art equipment. Its launch will help provide much faster service to the population in this region, especially patients in need of emergency care, such as those injured in accidents.
Hakan Dinçyürek stated that thanks to the latest technological equipment, the quality of service at the hospital has improved.
The Minister of Health also inspected the operation of the new tomograph and the neonatal intensive care unit.
According to the Minister of Health, in a few weeks, surgeries will begin to be performed at the hospital in front of observers: preparations for this are in the final stages. Hakan Dinçyürek added that efforts to improve medical services will continue day by day, and that they will do everything possible to ensure the health of citizens.
During the minister's visit, he was accompanied by the Chief Physician of Famagusta State Hospital, Mustafa Kalfaoglu, and the hospital's management.
