Electrification project for rural plots launched in Aygün village, Northern Cyprus
In Aygün village in Northern Cyprus, a project has been launched to provide electrical infrastructure for rural plots. The work is being carried out by Kıb-Tek as part of its ongoing infrastructure activities.
The project involves laying energy infrastructure for plots in the rural area. At the same time, work has been completed to provide electricity to previously constructed houses that were not yet connected.
The works cover 141 plots. The declared total cost of the project is 15,579,843 Turkish lira.
The project is implemented with the support of the Office for Development and Economic Cooperation of the Turkish Republic (KEİ) and with the design by the Social Housing Unit of the Ministry of Interior of TRNC.
Kıb-Tek emphasizes that the goal is to ensure owners of plots have access to electricity as soon as possible. Completion of the works is expected to boost residential construction and economic activity in the region.
Chairman of Kıb-Tek Gürsel Uzun stated that the project aims to improve the living standards of residents and thanked Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, the KEİ Office, the Social Housing Unit of the Ministry of Interior of TRNC, and Kıb-Tek staff for their contributions to implementation.
