12th Working Women’s Fair to Take Place in Girne
The 12th annual Working Women’s Fair will be held in Girne on Sunday, March 9, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Sevim Ebeoğlu Peace Park. This event is dedicated to celebrating and supporting women's labor, featuring market stalls, live performances, and various activities.
Since its launch in 2011, the fair has been organized under the slogan: "Our stand represents our labor, our future is what we create."
It is hosted by the Women’s Organization of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) to promote women’s rights and economic empowerment.
What to Expect:
Handmade products and crafts by women entrepreneurs
Live music and dance performances
Fun activities for children
The fair provides a platform for women artisans and business owners to showcase and sell their work while raising awareness about women’s economic independence.
Women and civil society organizations interested in setting up a booth, organizing an event, or participating must register by February 27, 2025.
