"Bayram Sokağı" Festival Held in Girne
The "Bayram Sokağı" festive festival was held at the Merit Park Hotel in Girne, bringing the atmosphere of a traditional Bayram to the guests.
As part of the event, a rich program with music, artistic performances, and entertainment for the whole family was prepared for visitors. An orchestra of state artists performed on stage, while DJ sets maintained the festive mood throughout the day.
Street performances drew particular attention from guests: stilt-walking shows, a mobile puppet theater, and the traditional Turkish shadow theater Hacivat and Karagöz. These performances were especially popular with children.
A gastronomic section of the holiday was also organized for guests. Various traditional treats were offered at street stands, and Maraş ice cream was accompanied by spectacular shows.
The organizers noted that the aim of the event was to combine music, traditions, and culture, giving guests a true festive atmosphere.
