In the State Hospital in Nicosia, a broken X-ray machine replaced after 6 years
A new X-ray machine has been installed at the Burhan Nalbantoglu State Hospital in Nicosia. The old X-ray machine had been malfunctioning for the past six years.
During a visit to the hospital, this was announced by the Minister of Health of the TRNC, Hakan Dinçyürek.
According to the minister, the X-ray machine, which had been malfunctioning for a long time, posed a problem for patients. It is expected that with the introduction of the new equipment into operation, patients will finally be able to receive the X-ray services they need at the outpatient clinic without having to go to the main building of the hospital.
"We are pleased that after a long time, this X-ray machine has been put into operation. It had been out of order for a long time, but now it's back in operation. Our current goal is to increase the number of X-ray machines in the hospital to two," said the minister, adding that with the new machine, the process of treating patients will be faster and more efficient.
During the minister's visit to the hospital, he was accompanied by the Director of the Department of Inpatient Medical Institutions, Cenk Soydan, the chief physician of the Nalbantoglu Hospital, Adil Özjylkan, and the management of the medical institution.
