Cleanliness and hygiene inspections held in Famagusta schools
Cleanliness and hygiene inspections were carried out in schools in Famagusta as part of the "Clean School — Clean City" project, implemented jointly by the Ministry of Education and the Famagusta Municipality.
According to the municipality, during the inspections, specialists evaluated the condition of school toilets, classrooms, common areas, and school yards. Schools were inspected based on established criteria for cleanliness and order.
The goal of the initiative is to raise sanitary standards in schools, create a safer and healthier educational environment for students, and encourage educational institutions that demonstrate a high level of cleanliness.
Schools that fully meet the established requirements will be awarded the "White Flag" mark and will serve as examples in the field of cleanliness and hygiene.
