Road Lane Merging Begins on the Famagusta-Nicosia Highway in TRNC
Starting today, roadworks have commenced on the "Main Road Lane Separation and Merging Project" for the Famagusta-Nicosia highway in Northern Cyprus.
Due to the beginning of these works on September 3, the road providing access to and from the Canakkale region via the Famagusta-Nicosia main road has been closed to traffic until further notice.
According to a statement from the municipality, during this period, traffic will be limited to a single lane on the Famagusta-Nicosia main road heading towards Nicosia.
Drivers are urged to pay attention to traffic signs, adhere to speed limits, and maintain a safe following distance.
