The TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) will disconnect the internet for debtors
The Department of Communications of the TRNC announced that its subscribers must settle debts accumulated until November 31st no later than January 15th.
According to the statement from the department, telephony, data transmission, and internet services will be suspended for subscribers whose accounts were not settled as of the end of November 31st and who still have outstanding debts.
Additionally, subscriptions will be terminated, and the lines of all subscribers with debts to the Department for more than 12 billing periods - since the end of December 2022 - will be canceled.
To avoid being without communication, subscribers are encouraged to settle their debts by contacting the nearest office of the Department of Communications.
