Japanese Include Lefkara and Gölyazi in the Top 10 Most Beautiful Cities in Europe
The Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) has compiled a ranking of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Lefkara in Cyprus and the city of Gölyaz in Bursa, Turkey, made it into the top 10.
As a result of the research, the 10 most beautiful cities in Europe were identified based on a variety of criteria, with the main one being the presence of a unique view that mesmerizes everyone with its natural beauty.
One of the most picturesque mountain villages in Cyprus, Lefkara, known for its lace and silverware, ranks 8th in the rating.
One of the oldest places in the Bursa region of Turkey, the city of Gölyaz, founded in 600 BC on a small peninsula on Lake Uluabat, closes the top 10 most beautiful cities in Europe.
The authors of the rating placed the city of Kilkenny in Ireland in first place. The top three also included the cities of Berat in Albania and Civita di Bagnoregio in Italy.
Another Italian town, Procida, took fourth place in the rating. Conwy, located in Wales, completes the top five.
In the top 10 most beautiful cities in Europe according to Japanese tour agents, Lech (6th place, Austria), Hindeloopen (7th place, Netherlands), and Rovinj (9th place, Croatia) also made the list.
