Zerrin Üstel Participates in Sapling Planting Event in Northern Cyprus

On March 10, 2026, Zerrin Üstel participated in a sapling planting event in Northern Cyprus held under the slogan "We give life to the earth, breath to the future." The event was supported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and held under the patronage of the Beyarmudu Municipality, organized by the Mesarya Women’s Agriculture and Art Association.

The goal of the campaign is to support the female workforce in the fields of agriculture and tourism. Minister Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu and his wife Sabiha Hasipoğlu also participated in the event alongside Üstel.

In her speech, Üstel noted that she was pleased to be surrounded by active and hardworking women and that women's participation in such projects is a source of pride. She stated: "When women want to, there is nothing they cannot do." Üstel also expressed her conviction that the project will expand and become a successful initiative for the benefit of the country.

According to the organizers, the initiative is aimed at empowering women in agriculture and tourism. For residents in Northern Cyprus, this means the implementation of programs to support female employment in relevant industries and reforestation activities.
