Hot, dusty, and cloudy: weather forecast for Northern Cyprus on April 26

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Friday, April 26, the region is affected by low pressure and hot, humid air. Hot and dusty weather persists in Northern Cyprus.

Meteorologists predict high cloud cover with no precipitation. The air temperature remains 8-10 degrees above seasonal climatic norms. In some areas, the mercury will rise to 34-35°C.

The wind is northwesterly, of moderate strength, with gusts up to strong. No storms are expected in the region today. Three meteorological warnings remain in effect for the region. In Northern Cyprus, there is a high probability of forest fires and a high level of ultraviolet radiation.

One should not stay under the sun for more than 15 minutes, especially from 11:00 to 16:00, without taking necessary precautions.

The dust from North Africa, which arrived on the island, will persist until Monday evening, April 29.
