Strings of Imagination: A Guitar Evening

As part of the 20th EGTA Festival, young French guitarist Edith Pageau will present a unique program at The Shoe Factory. Edith is known for her unconventional approach to repertoire and brilliant technique, which has earned her victories at prestigious international competitions.

The highlight of the concert is original transcriptions of classical works originally written for other instruments. You will hear guitar interpretations of masterpieces by Schubert, Rachmaninoff, and Scarlatti, as well as the modern rhythms of Piazzolla and the meditative sounds of Glass. This is an evening where the guitar reveals its full multifaceted potential.
