Airlines Cancel Flights Between Cyprus and Middle East
Airlines began canceling flights between Cyprus and Middle Eastern countries on Saturday amid US and Israeli strikes on Iran and Tehran's response.
Wizz Air announced the cancellation of all flights to Israel, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Amman until March 7. Cancellations affected Larnaca–Tel Aviv and Larnaca–Abu Dhabi routes. Ryanair canceled its morning flight from Paphos to Amman. Air Haifa canceled afternoon flights between Paphos and Haifa.
Meanwhile, some flights are operating as scheduled. Cyprus Airways continues registration for flights to Dubai and Beirut. Qatar Airways reported that its flight from Doha arrived on time.
As of now, there are no official statements regarding Emirates flights between Larnaca and Dubai, or Sundor, Arkia, and Israir flights between Larnaca and Tel Aviv. The situation remains dynamic.
