Manchester Airport Disruption Affects Three Flights to Cyprus
Passengers at Manchester Airport in the United Kingdom faced significant delays and cancellations on Sunday due to a power outage. This incident affected several flights bound for Cyprus.
According to Hermes Airports, the managing company of Cypriot airports, one flight to Larnaca and two flights to Paphos were impacted by the power outage at the British air hub. Additionally, one flight to Paphos was canceled.
Currently, Manchester Airport is operating normally. However, some delays are expected today in flight operations, including those to Cyprus, due to the need to accommodate several flights that were delayed for several hours earlier.
Despite the restoration of electricity supply, the disruption will continue to affect operations throughout the day.
