On the Limassol–Nicosia highway, the left lane was temporarily closed due to soil and gravel falling from a truck
At approximately 09:15 on Wednesday, on the Limassol–Nicosia highway in the direction of Nicosia, in the Muttagiaki area, soil and gravel fell from a passing truck, resulting in the temporary closure of the left lane.
According to the police, police officers and Fire Service personnel are working at the scene to clean the roadway. Traffic in this section is being directed to the right lane.

The police urge drivers to proceed at a safe, low speed, maintain distance, and follow the instructions of personnel on site. There have been no official reports of injuries.
For drivers, this means possible delays and reduced capacity during the morning hours; with increased traffic, it is recommended to account for additional travel time in advance or choose alternative routes. Police and road maintenance services are working to restore normal traffic flow as soon as possible.
