The Cypriot government continues to organize repatriation flights to return citizens and residents of the island from Middle Eastern countries.

On Saturday evening at 20:00, the fourth Cyprus Airways flight is expected to arrive at Larnaca Airport, carrying 170 passengers, including two infants. The plane departed Dubai with a delay of approximately two hours.

As of Saturday, 805 people have already returned to Cyprus, the majority of whom are 781 passengers from the United Arab Emirates. On Friday, two flights also arrived in Larnaca with 293 Cypriot citizens.

Authorities stated that operations for the safe return of citizens from Middle Eastern regions will continue until the process is fully completed.

Cypriot citizens remaining in the region are advised to:

  • closely monitor the development of the situation,
  • follow the instructions of local authorities,
  • register on the Connect2CY online platform.

Additionally, they can seek assistance from Cyprus's diplomatic missions in Middle Eastern countries.
