Daylight saving time in Cyprus to begin on the night of March 28-29
Daylight saving time in Cyprus will begin at 3:00 am on Sunday, March 29, the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry announced. At that moment, clocks will be set forward by one hour.
The Ministry indicated that the transition to summer time operates in accordance with regulations adopted in the European Union. Summer time will end on Sunday, October 25, 2026.
The time change applies to all EU member states, the agency noted, adding that this is standard annual practice for the region.
For residents in Cyprus, this means that the night hours from Saturday to Sunday will be one hour shorter due to the clock change. It is recommended to take the time change into account when planning trips and schedules on these dates.
