Traffic jams have formed on the Nicosia – Larnaca and Nicosia – Limassol highways
Cyprus Police warned drivers about heavy traffic on two of the country’s main highways — Nicosia – Larnaca and Nicosia – Limassol.
According to law enforcement authorities, increased traffic is being observed on these sections, which is causing slower traffic flow and congestion.
In this regard, the police urge motorists to exercise maximum caution behind the wheel, keep a safe distance from vehicles ahead and strictly follow the rules of the road.
Drivers are also being especially reminded to avoid sudden maneuvers, observe the speed limit and take the current road conditions into account when planning trips.
The police continue to monitor the situation on the roads and remind motorists that complying with safety rules helps reduce the risk of accidents and ensure the smooth flow of traffic on the country’s busiest highways.
