Police night raids: 12 detained and dozens of traffic violations

Police conducted large-scale night operations across the country, increasing patrols in urban areas to prevent crime and maintain public order. During the preventive measures, 12 people were detained on various charges, including theft, disturbing the peace, and drug possession.
Overnight, police officers stopped and checked 493 vehicles, as well as 715 drivers and passengers. Simultaneously, inspections were carried out at 44 establishments, resulting in seven reports of violations.
Special attention was paid to road safety. Police recorded 186 traffic violations, 50 of which were for speeding. Additionally, 162 alcohol tests were conducted — eight drivers were found to be intoxicated, and out of nine drug tests, three were positive. Ten vehicles were also seized as part of the operations.
The police emphasized that such coordinated operations will continue daily. The increased presence of law enforcement and targeted checks are aimed at improving citizen safety and preventing crime.
