Dangerous truck incident in Larnaca: vehicle narrowly avoided overturning at roundabouts

A serious road safety incident occurred on Saturday morning, February 7, in the Mackenzie area of Larnaca. A video that appeared on social media captures the moment when a heavy truck drives at high speed through two consecutive roundabouts within the city, creating a real risk of an accident.

The footage shows the vehicle experiencing strong lateral tilt while turning, with the cargo clearly shifting to one side. The angle of lean is so severe that the truck was essentially seconds away from overturning, which could have led to serious consequences for other road users.

In addition to the dangerous driving manner, other details draw attention: the rear license plates of the truck are completely dirty and impossible to identify, and the vehicle itself appears not to have been cleaned before entering public roads. These circumstances would have significantly complicated the determination of responsibility in the event of a traffic accident.
