Police Seek Public Assistance Following Riots at GSP Stadium in Nicosia
Cyprus Police have released photographs of individuals wanted to assist with the investigation into the riots at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia.
The incident occurred on February 8, 2026, following the football match between APOEL and AEK Larnaca.
According to the police, the investigation covers offenses related to:
- unlawful assembly,
- participation in riots,
- intentional damage to property.
Law enforcement authorities urge anyone with information that could help identify the individuals to contact the Strovolos Police Station at 22-607761 or 22-607780, call the Citizen's Hotline at 1460, or contact the nearest police station.
