The launch of the mission involving the first-ever Cypriot astronaut has been postponed for technical reasons. The decision to delay the flight was made shortly before the scheduled launch after a malfunction was detected in one of the spacecraft’s systems.

According to the mission organizers, the delay is precautionary and exclusively related to safety concerns. Experts are conducting additional inspections and corrective work, after which a new launch date will be announced.

It is noted that the condition of the crew and the astronaut himself is not a cause for concern. Mission representatives emphasized that such postponements are standard practice in the space industry and are aimed at minimizing any risks.

The new flight date will be announced after the completion of technical checks and receipt of all necessary approvals.
