Nicosia Police Collect Two Million Euros in Fines
Since the beginning of the year, Nicosia police have collected two million euros in fines. In just one day, they executed collections amounting to over 100,000 euros.
According to local media, on Tuesday, July 2, Nicosia police executed a total of 209 fines amounting to 101,582.56 euros.
In 2024, a total of 8,328 fines have been issued, with 1,962,164.97 euros collected.
The fines were related to traffic violations, criminal offenses, overdue social security payments, municipal fees, alimony, and private criminal cases.
