Schools in Akrotiri Remain Closed Following Drone Attack
The primary school in the village of Akrotiri, along with the kindergarten and the environmental education center, will remain closed next Monday, the Ministry of Education has announced.
The educational institutions were closed after the British airbase at Akrotiri was struck by an Iranian-made drone shortly after midnight on Monday.
The ministry noted that the decision to extend the closure was taken as a precautionary measure.
Remote learning has already been organized for primary school and kindergarten students.
