Three days of open doors: Leventis Gallery invites you to visit exhibitions for free

The A. G. Leventis Gallery joins the celebration of International Museum Day by announcing free admission for all visitors from May 16 to 18, 2026. The initiative aims to expand access to cultural heritage and attract a wide audience to the museum space.
The campaign takes place as part of the annual holiday established by the International Council of Museums (ICOM). During these days, residents and guests of Cyprus will be able to familiarize themselves with the gallery's collections and temporary exhibitions free of charge, without incurring additional costs.
A special operating schedule is provided for International Museum Day itself — May 18. On this day, the gallery will be open from 10:00 to 20:00, allowing visitors to choose a convenient time for their visit.
The theme for 2026 — "Museums Unite the World" — emphasizes the role of cultural institutions as spaces for dialogue, education, and mutual understanding. The organizers note that such initiatives help strengthen the society's connection with art and history, making culture more accessible.
The Leventis Gallery traditionally participates in international cultural events, offering visitors not only access to exhibitions but also the opportunity to get to know the region's artistic heritage more deeply.
