Three Foreign Nationals Arrested After Knife Fight in Nicosia
A fight involving three foreign nationals broke out in Nicosia on Thursday evening, leaving one of them hospitalized with a stab wound.
According to a police statement, authorities were alerted to a disturbance involving foreign nationals at around 8:20 PM. During the altercation, one of the men reportedly stabbed another.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found two injured individuals, aged 19 and 20. The 19-year-old had a knife embedded in his right shoulder, while the 20-year-old had abrasions on his face.
A third man, aged 18, was also arrested at the scene. After being taken to the Central Police Station, he was identified by the 19-year-old victim as the individual who had stabbed him.
Both injured men were transported to Nicosia General Hospital, treated for their injuries, and later discharged. All three individuals were arrested and remain in custody as the investigation continues.
