Limassol-Nicosia Highway Section to Close for Nighttime Work
All three lanes of the Limassol-Nicosia highway will be closed for nighttime maintenance. The police advise drivers to exercise extra caution during this time.
According to the Department of Public Works, the work will take place on the stretch of highway near the Koziati exit, from 9:00 PM on Thursday until 5:30 AM on Friday, March 21.
During these hours, all three lanes heading towards Nicosia will be closed for approximately three kilometers. Traffic will be diverted to the opposite side of the road, heading towards Limassol, where both directions will be open.
Due to the construction, both entry and exit to the Kotsiatis area will be blocked. Vehicles will be redirected to the old Limassol-Nicosia road. The repair work will involve removing and restoring the road surface.
The police urge drivers to adhere to speed limits, maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, and pay close attention to the temporary road markings in the work zone.
