17-year-old robbery suspect detained in Ayia Napa
Cyprus Police have detained a 17-year-old teenager suspected of a robbery committed on March 11, 2026, in Ayia Napa.
According to police reports, a 20-year-old man was sitting on a bench when two unknown individuals approached him. Threatening him with a knife, they stole his wallet and fled the scene.
The suspect was detained yesterday evening. The Famagusta Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is continuing the investigation.
