Balcony Collapses in Paphos: Woman Injured
In Paphos, a woman sustained injuries after the balcony of a residential building she was on collapsed.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of March 16. According to preliminary information, part of the balcony structure suddenly gave way, causing the woman to fall and suffer injuries.
Police and an ambulance arrived at the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the causes of the structural failure and to find out if the building's safety requirements were met.
