Chloraka Calls for Completion of Promenade Construction in 'Pilos' Bay
Andreas Kyriakou, Chairman of the Chloraka Cultural and Ecological Association, has called on authorities to complete the construction of the pedestrian promenade in 'Pilos' Bay.
According to him, this project will help preserve the natural landscape and make the coastline more accessible to residents and tourists.
'Pilos' Bay is considered one of the most picturesque stretches of coastline in the Chloraka area. Despite changes in recent years, the characteristic rock formations along the shore still maintain the natural uniqueness of this territory.
A few years ago, the organization proposed creating a coastal pedestrian path connecting the eastern and western parts of the bay.
A wooden staircase has already been installed on the eastern side, built with the support of a private company. It provides convenient access to the sea and improves conditions for visitors.
However, the western part of the project has not yet been implemented, preventing the full completion of the pedestrian route along the shore.
Organization representatives note that completing the project will improve access to the coast, highlight the area's natural beauty, and contribute to the sustainable development of the coastal zone.
In conclusion, Andreas Kyriakou urged the responsible authorities to take the necessary measures as soon as possible to complete the promenade's construction.
