73-Year-Old Farmer Passes Away in Larnaca
A tragedy occurred in the Dromolaxia area of the Larnaca district — a 73-year-old livestock farm owner passed away after a sudden deterioration in his health.
According to his son, they were returning from the farm when the man fell ill. He was rushed to the hospital, but despite the doctors' efforts, he could not be saved.
Colleagues stated that in recent days, the farmer had been deeply concerned about the foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) outbreak and its potential consequences for regional farms. They noted that he was actively involved in disinfection work and expressed anxiety for the future of his family and farmers in general.
The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
