Temporary Traffic Changes on 1st April Street in Limassol Due to Sewerage Construction
Limassol Municipality, with the approval of the Chief of Cyprus Police, has approved temporary traffic regulation measures as part of a sewerage system construction project on specific sections of 1st April Street in Limassol.
Restrictions will be in effect from February 19 to March 11, 2026.
The following measures are being introduced:
- Installation of a temporary traffic light system on straight sections of the road within the construction zone;
- Placement of temporary prohibitory and directional road signs to manage traffic;
- Installation of protective barriers (plastic T2 and concrete step barriers) with flashing warning lights around the perimeter of the construction area.
The measures are implemented in accordance with the standards of the Department of Public Works.
The Municipality warns that violators of the temporary traffic rules will be held liable in accordance with current legislation and municipal regulations.
