Cypriot and American Aircraft to Fly Low Over Nicosia
Cypriot and American aircraft will be flying at low altitudes over Nicosia. The Ministry of Defense has issued a warning about upcoming joint exercises.
The Ministry of Defense reports that from August 6 to August 9, 2024, as part of military cooperation between the Republic of Cyprus and the United States, training activities will be conducted in Nicosia. These exercises will focus on air defense and will involve low-flying Cypriot and American aircraft.
The exercises will include participation from both the aviation and ground forces of the National Guard.
