Courier robbed in Nicosia: the perpetrators fled on his motorcycle
On Wednesday evening in Nicosia, there was another attack on a delivery worker. The incident once again raised concerns about the safety of couriers working in the capital.
According to police, around 5:20 p.m., a 29-year-old courier arrived at an address to deliver a food order when he was attacked by two unknown men.
The assailants are believed to have taken the man’s cash and mobile phone, after which they stole his motorcycle and fled the scene.
The victim contacted the police, after which officers arrived at the scene to inspect the area and collect evidence.
The Nicosia Police Criminal Investigation Department has launched an investigation and is searching for the suspects. Authorities are reviewing possible CCTV footage and establishing the route taken by the attackers.
