Explosion Outside Event Center in Nicosia
An explosion occurred during the night at the entrance of an event center in the Lakatamia area of Nicosia.
According to police, the incident happened around 03:20. Law enforcement officers, including explosives experts, arrived at the scene.
Preliminary findings indicate that the explosion was caused by an explosive device. As a result, the glass facade of the building was damaged.
The scene has been cordoned off, and the investigation is ongoing. The case is being handled by the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department.
