Four cars burned in Nicosia: Police investigate cause of fire

A fire broke out in the Pallouriotissa area of Nicosia, damaging four cars.

According to the fire service, the fire started on the roadway next to a green area where the vehicles were parked. Fire crews arrived promptly at the scene and managed to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading further.

According to preliminary information, two cars sustained serious damage and were almost completely destroyed by fire. Another two vehicles suffered minor damage.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established. The fire service is investigating the incident jointly with the police. Experts are determining whether the fire was accidental or involved arson.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
