In Paphos, a 27-Year-Old Man Arrested for Car Theft and Home Burglary

The police have arrested a 27-year-old man as part of the investigation into a residential burglary and car theft in the Paphos district.
According to law enforcement, around 11:30 a.m. the previous day, information was received about a house break-in and a stolen car. During operational actions, police officers identified the suspect and conducted a search of his apartment in Paphos. During the search, a car key was found, which later turned out to have been stolen.
The car itself was found parked near the building where the 27-year-old man lived. After identifying the 36-year-old car owner, it was confirmed that her home had been burglarized. Keys to the car were taken from the residence, followed by the vehicle itself.
A court-issued arrest warrant was issued for the suspect. He has been detained and placed in custody. The investigation continues under the Pegeia Police Department.
