Armed Robbery in the Suburbs of Nicosia
Early Monday morning, an armed robbery took place in the southern suburb of Nicosia, Tseri. Masked assailants stormed a retail kiosk at gunpoint and made off with the cash registers containing the day’s earnings.

According to the police press office, the crime occurred around 4 a.m. today.
The perpetrators, wearing face-covering masks, threatened the shopkeeper with a firearm, took the cash from the register, and fled in an unknown direction.
Police arrived at the scene, and with the rise of the sun, began collecting witness statements and evidence to identify the suspects.
The investigation is ongoing.
