Official punished for systematic absenteeism
A civil servant in Northern Cyprus has faced disciplinary action for failing to report to work without a valid reason.
According to the information, the employee was absent from the workplace for a long period without providing an official justification. Following an investigation, measures were taken against him in accordance with the current civil service legislation.
It is emphasized that public servants are obliged to observe service discipline, and unjustified absences entail sanctions.
