Transportation on the main road Kyrenia - Nicosia has resumed in Northern Cyprus. Last night, the road was closed due to severe black ice.
The icing of the road on the main road Nicosia - Kyrenia occurred due to heavy hail in the Cyclops area.
To ensure the safety of drivers, the police decided to close traffic between the Bogazkoy intersection and the Dr. Fazil Kucuk roundabout in Kyrenia until the weather conditions normalize.
This morning, the mentioned stretch of road was reopened for traffic.
