Head-on collision occurred on the Nicosia Northern Ring Road
A head-on collision between two cars occurred on the Lefkoşa Kuzey Çevre Yolu yesterday evening.
The accident happened around 21:00. According to preliminary data, the two vehicles collided head-on on an unlit section of the road for unknown reasons.
Two people were injured as a result of the accident. Rescuers extracted them from the vehicles and transported them to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital.
Following the crash, there was a report that a passenger might have been thrown from the car. However, during the search, it was discovered that a car wheel was lying on the roadside, not a person.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
